Yesterday, our smoke alarm started chirping during the day, and we realized it was time to change the batteries. The Hubbs swapped them in about 30 seconds. However, during the chirping, Annie and Paul weren't happy pups. Both of them left their room and came running to me. We sat as one big pile of puppy in the back room with lots of pets. Annie was fine about 5 minutes later and walked off. Paul shook and slobbered for about half an hour before he was calm. While he's normally my shadow, this was even closer than shadow including bulldozing his way into a few places he normally doesn't go to follow me.
